The Executive Team is excited to announce the QMAC 2016 conference theme – Foresight 2020: Setting the Marketing Agenda of Tomorrow. QMAC’s theme this year celebrates the advances occurring in the marketing world today, and acknowledges the challenges marketers will face in the future. As the framework for this conference, we aim to create the perfect combination of sponsors, speakers, and delegates to help predict the unpredictable ways in which technology and consumer behaviour will evolve over the next 5 years. Most importantly, we aim to create a forum of innovative insight regarding how marketers will react to and influence this evolution. This theme will challenge both corporate partners and delegates to provide thought-provoking addresses, and to catalyze conversations and ideas in the conference delegates. A broad theme such as this demands both structure and a storyline, and we are delighted to introduce mini-themes to the conference for the first time in QMAC’s history. Each day of the conference will engage delegates in a different way, and will help them to connect with the conference theme. Over the course of the weekend, we will provide delegates with both the mindset and the tools that will help them succeed as young marketers.

The Queen’s Marketing Association Conference is Canada’s largest undergraduate marketing conference. Year after year, we aim to support this fact by bringing together the top marketing students from across Canada. From the University of British Columbia to Dalhousie, coast to coast, QMAC is present wherever marketing has a pulse. QMAC 2016 will unite 130 of the most brilliant marketing minds from across the country, providing them with the opportunity to not only interact and engage with peers, but also some of the most influential individuals and companies in the field of marketing.

Celebrating its 31st year, QMAC will be bigger, better, and oranger than ever before. Delegates will be immersed in unprecedented learning and networking experiences. The goal of the Executive Team is to facilitate the optimal combination of Workshops, Keynote Presentations, Alumni Speakers, QMAC Challenge, and Mini Challenge competitions in order to create a unique forum for development and idea generation.

We are thrilled to begin preparations for QMAC 2016. Over the next 8 months we will be opening the floor to contributions from our trusted advisors, valued corporate partners, and carefully selected delegates to help us create a legendary experience. We look forward to sharing the QMAC experience with you before, during, and after the conference.
